So we're almost done soccer and cheer leading is going to slow down a bit. Emma will just have practice tues and thurs and we don't have a competition until December. Joel will have basketball practice every Sat and Sun starting Nov 15th but it's just a learning program so there will be no extra games. Good news is the 2 boys want to play football next year. I was so excited to hear that as it will make my life 100 times less complicated. They will all have practice the same times and days. The game schedule will be different but manageable.

My husband is officially laid off. it is so much earlier this year than last year. He delivers housing materials to job sites so I guess since there's no point in building houses there's no supplies for him to drop off. I sure do hope the economy makes an upturn soon. I fell it will take very many years for all this mess to straighten out. I feel it's a series of mistakes from the president, stock markets and mortgage lenders. All I know is in 2011 I'm buying a house, I never want to have to rent again.

It is so cold here. I think colder this time of year than many years past. I remember right after Joel was born we went to the Halloween parade and I had him in shorts because it was so warm. My husband and I were just talking about how cold it will be at Emma's practice tonight when the parent advisor called and said it was cancelled tonight WOO HOO. This was to be their last outside practice.

Joel is doing awesome in school this year. I just went to an IEP and there were nothing but great comments about him. He's working hard and he's answering questions in class. Last year he was so shy and wouldn't raise his hand for anything. He comes home does his homework and I check and sign. There is no more fighting anymore. I'm so proud of how he's maturing.

Dakota is a work in progress. I love him but he is strong headed and not very opened minded. It's his way or the highway. it takes much encouragement to get his homework done on a nightly basis. He usually has extra work due to reading support and occupational therapy. I think he is getting better as we go and his teachers and guidance counselors are really working with him. Last year he had a tough time in soccer following directions and getting along with his teammates. This year started that way but he really turned around halfway though and made a lot of friends and started to learn in soccer.

Emma loves everything and everybody. She is very curious and gets into a lot of trouble because of that. She's creative and artistic. It's hard to keep her mind busy and occupied and out of trouble. I think she's getting better in school trying to stay on task she is a nosey child. Cheer leading is her favorite and for sure after this year is over I will be putting her in gymnastics. It will help her with the competition squad.

Logan is a typical 2 year old. He gets his attitude from his brothers and sister and loves to play. He would love to stay up all night and sleep all day. He slept today until 1100. Tomorrow he has school so he'll be up bright and early. He imitates anything his siblings do and his favorite toy is the new kitten. He thinks she is his personal playmate. I don't think her feelings are mutual.

Not sure how I got into this whole thing but just taking some time to type away. I've got laundry to do again and supper to make I hope everybody has a safe and happy (and warm) Halloween

I need the schedues to END!!!!

I have been so busy with the soccer and cheerleading schedules that I don't feel like I have a minute to breath. I wanted to have Joel's party at a skating rink but I couldn't find any good times to have it. Now because of work being short on hours I have 4 days to plan and have a party. Luckily a local park had pavilions available so we're gonna do that. I'm not doing anything extravagant maybe some Halloween themed things. If anybody knows of any good games let me know. For his present from us we are taking him to see High School Musical 3. He is in love with the first and second ones and wants to look just like Troy Bolton

Logan had his first preschool field trip today. We went to a local farm and had a hayride. They really set it up nice with decorations for the kids. We each got to pick 4 apples, 1 pumpkin and 2 gourds. He did really well and had lots of fun. When we went to pick put pumpkins he picked one up and I said "ohh don't pick that one it is yucky". So he drops it and it splits right down the center and all the guts fly out. The boys thought that was very funny. His favorite part was watching the tractor go. I got some pictures I want to get up here.

Last Saturday we went to Field of Screams with some friends. It was nice to get out and do something fun for a change. They last time I had been to a haunted house was before I had kids 9 years ago because I was always pregnant. It is a farm where there is a hayride and 2 houses to go through. we only did the hayride and one house because the lines were so long but our ticket is still good for the other house. A friend at work was telling me there's an even better place called Shocktoberfest about 45 minutes from here. I'm planning that for next year.

I'm gonna try to get some pictures up here quick and I got laundry as usual to do.
I got some of the pictures up I want to do some of the other kids too but the first one is of Emma doing her homecoming routine, next is Rose Bud our kitten, Then Emma doing a stunt and then Muffin the mama cat and last is logan in orange at the fieldtrip

I need the schedues to END!!!!

First entry

So this is my first entry on blogger. I am migrating from AOL as they are ending the journals this month. It took a while for me to get this done but I decided now or never. I'm still not sure how to add pictures to my slideshow so it's generic for the moment. I guess I'll learn as I go. So much to do today, I'll be on playing around a little later.
Until then
